i’m in college and that is when our spring break is. i have about a 14 foot skiff i was wanting to know about the fishing on the inlets and streams. i always go in the summer and fall, but i’ve never been this early. any help is appreciated. i was kinda hoping for some redfish to be running but i didn’t know.

I am trying to find a place to go salt-water fishing in Rhode Island. I called the Fish and Wildlife Service and did not get a good answer for a place to go fishing in the ocean. I Just Bought a uglystik thats 7 feet tall and says 10-25 pound line im going on a fishing trip to the ocean and expecting to catch a 50 pound fish is this possible and how? Dose a Fish weigh less in water?
