Johnny G asked: As I understand it, at least in NC, you must have a fishing license if you are using artificial bait but you don’t have to have one if you use live bait. I can’t understand the reasoning. People have been feeding themselves and their families for all time by fishing. Being that there are more blue collar and lower-income people fishing for food to feed their families, how is this not the same as a tax on the poor?

Zombiespiderman asked: I’ve been fishing the Madison river for years. I have had fantastic success catching 20-30 fish a day and up to 22″, however i catch nothing out of the deepest pools. My friend and i think it is because we can’t run our lures deep enough, how do we run our lure deeper. Also, any tips for helping set a hook in a big fish, we have lost a lot of big fish because our hook always comes out. Oh, remember it’s a mountain river and the water is running pretty quickly.

I am also fishing for chinooks and cohos (kings and silvers) if that materrs. Thank you in advance.

My full-time job is nothing to do with bassfishing. To contribute all my life for bassfishing, I would like to move to south and work in fishing tackle industry, but don’t know how to find a job in fishing tackle industry. Could someone please help me find a job in the industry? I want to stay in the industry and the sport as much as possible.

iluvmynotebook asked: I have about 2 dozen earthworms that i bought for fishing and did not get the chance to use them all. How can I keep them alive so that I can use them in the next week or two? What, if anything, can I feed them? Do I water them? Do I keep them in the little container that they came in?

bassfisher9069 asked: I want to start bass fishing this year, but I’m not sure what’s the best time to start. When I started last year, my results wre varied form trip to trip. Some days were really good, others were like fishing in the dead of winter. I just want to start at the right time. A good time would also include a time where I won’t be cold, I cannot stand even the slightest cold.
